Who's building this

I got into IT in 2015 through an IT apprenticeship at BBRZ in Vienna. Then I worked as an iOS developer at Tailored Apps and built apps for the App Store.

2019, my own company. Co-founded RocketWM and ran it for almost four years: hiring, pricing, delivery and a lot of websites.

Then corporate IT. First an international paper trading group, a webshop relaunch with external development partners. Then Austrian Post, IT projects across the branch network, from the first requirement to handover into operations. That is where I ran public tenders from the buyer side: I was the one rating the vendors.

None of that involved AI.

That part happened in the evenings. I taught myself AI and the dev skills that go with it, mostly in the evenings and on weekends, one prototype after another. I have worked with AI agents every day since late 2024.

At some point the job no longer matched what had started as a side thing. Early 2026 we parted on good terms. With no plan for what came next.

I went to events and hackathons and found people who tick the same way. Today I work in exactly the field that pulled me in.

At AI Factory Austria I lead the venture studio and a weekly build session series. My own things keep running next to it: the tool, the products, the writing.

Sven is my assistant. He handles routine tasks I have authorised and brings me the decisions that need my input.
