Until when can I apply for AWS AI-Adoption funding?
The AWS AI-Adoption funding runs until February 28, 2025. Due to processing time, I recommend submitting all documents by mid-February 2025 at the latest. I support you with the complete application process.
How much is the AWS AI-Adoption funding?
The funding is up to 80% of eligible costs, maximum €150,000. External consulting services are eligible up to 49% of project costs. This means: For a €30,000 AI project, you can receive up to €24,000 in funding.
Which companies are eligible for AI funding in Austria?
Generally all Austrian SMEs (10-250 employees) and mid-market companies. Requirements: Based in Austria, no insolvency, no funding exclusion. I check your eligibility for free within 48 hours.
Which costs are eligible for AWS AI-Adoption funding?
Eligible: External consulting (up to 49%), cloud infrastructure, software licenses, training and education, EU AI Act compliance measures. NOT eligible: Internal personnel costs, hardware, already started projects.
Can I apply for multiple funding programs simultaneously?
Yes, but not for the same project. You can e.g. use AWS AI-Adoption for an AI project and FFG Basisprogramm for another R&D project. Important: No double funding for identical measures. I advise you on the optimal funding strategy.
How long does processing of a funding application take?
AWS AI-Adoption: 4-8 weeks after submission. FFG Basisprogramm: 8-12 weeks. KMU.DIGITAL: Currently exhausted for 2025, available again in 2026. Always plan 2-3 months lead time before you can start the project.
What happens if my funding application is rejected?
Upon rejection, you receive a reason. Often you can submit a new application with improvements. I help you avoid common rejection reasons from the start: unclear project goals, lack of economic viability, insufficient documentation.
Do I have to repay the funding?
No, with successful project execution, the funding is a non-repayable grant. BUT: If requirements are not met (e.g. project not implemented, funds misused), repayment can be demanded. That's why clean project documentation is essential.

Can I still get funding if I've already started the project?
NO - that's a common mistake! You may ONLY start after positive funding approval. Already started projects are not eligible. Important: Plan 2-3 months lead time for application submission.
Which documents do I need for a funding application?
Standard documents: Commercial register extract, financial statements (last 2 years), detailed project description, cost and financing plan, timeline, evidence of external consultants. I create a complete checklist with you and handle the application.
What does funding consultation cost?
